Consultation
At Artizen Acupuncture, We customize treatments plans based on your unique concerns and desired results. All of our treatments begin with an in-depth consultation during which we will discuss factors such as lifestyle, symptoms, and treatment details. We will also take before photos so we can visually track your progress.

Recovery
Your skin will feel tight and be slightly red for 8-12 hours following microneedling. For one week after you will want to wear sunscreen and your skin may feel slightly more sensitive. After that you will be back to normal.
Before receiving microneedling, we recommend you:
- Eat a full meal 1 to 2 hours prior to your appointment
- Avoid caffeine, and alcohol
- Arrive with a clean face, no make-up is preferred
- Avoid use of Retin-A type products for 2-3 days before and at least a week after treatment.
FAQ
Does microneedling hurt?
We use a 5% lidocaine cream at the beginning of the treatment to reduce any discomfort. The session is 60 minutes long, but the actual time needling is only 10-15 minutes. The treatment is followed by LED light therapy to help calm the inflammation and speed up the healing process.
